Eglinton-Hwy 10 Veterinary Clinic is proud to serve the Mississauga ON area for everything pet related. Our veterinary clinic and animal hospital is run by Dr. Davinder Jassal, who is a licensed, experienced Mississauga veterinarian.

Dr. Davinder Jassal – Veterinary Owner
A graduate from veterinary school in 1984, Dr. Davinder Jassal obtained a Master’s Degree from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1988. After a three-year service at the Hospital for Sick Children, in 1992 he returned to his private practice. Dr. Jassal also worked in a veterinary emergency clinic in Toronto. Soon after, in 1993, he established the Eglington-Hwy 10 Clinic. Dr. Jassal enjoys working with animals. He is dedicated to modern veterinary medicine by keeping up to date with continued education. His special interests are medicine, surgery and dentistry. Dr. Jassal is married to Mrs. Raj Ravi. They have two sons Bicky and Harmy, a dog named Lucky and Bambi, the cat. He enjoys using his knowledge and experience to care for all the clients and patients that come to the Eglington-Hwy 10 Veterinary Clinic.

Dr. Monika Pajek – Veterinarian
Dr. Monika Pajek graduated in 2008 from Warsaw University of Life Sciences. She came to Canada from Poland and joined our growing team in 2009, initially as a technician while working on obtaining Canadian Veterinary Licence. In May 2013 she was granted a restricted license from the College of Veterinarians of Ontario and started training under Dr. Davinder Jassal’s supervision. In January 2015 she moved to a position of full-time veterinarian after fulfilling all the necessary licensure requirements. Dr. Monika’s professional interests focus on internal medicine and nutrition with the aim of involving pet owners into every step of our patient’s life. True bird lover, Dr. Monika enjoys long bird-watching hikes. During her years as a technician, she rescued a couple of abandoned baby birds, eventually releasing them back into the wild.

Dr. Bick Jassal DVM – Associate Veterinarian
Growing up in his fathers veterinary hospital in Mississauga from the time he was a little boy, Dr. Bick knew veterinary medicine was where he would see his future. After earning a Bachelor of Veterinary Science Honours from the University of Queensland, and living abroad in Australia for five years, Dr. Bick returned home to join Eglinton Hwy 10 Veterinary Hospital. He has an interest in surgery, preventative medicine, internal medicine and dermatology. Dr. Bick is always around with a smile to help any of his fury friends that come in. His kind and positive attitude is a welcome addition to our team!

Joyce – OFFICE Manager
As far back as she could remember, Joyce has always been interested in pursuing a career in the veterinary field. Her first experience was working in a veterinary clinic during her co-operative placement in high school. After high school she worked in a veterinary hospital where she acquired more knowledge in the field. Since 2002 Joyce has been a valued employee here at the Eglinton-Hwy 10 Clinic. In 2006 she obtained the position of practice manager. Joyce’s home has become a safe haven for animals. Her passion and nurturing towards animals is definitely an asset to this clinic and our clients. Joyce’s ambitions for the future are to continue her education and further her career here at the Eglington-Hwy 10 Clinic.

Heidi – Veterinary Assistant
Heidi joined the Eglington-Hwy 10 Clinic in 1993 as its resident groomer. Having an interest in medicine, she continued her studies with enthusiasm by training and pursuing a career as a Veterinary Assistant. As a Veterinary Assistant, Heidi’s goal is to continue to further her knowledge in animal medicine. Her compassion and understanding of animals has made her a valuable addition to this staff. Heidi also enjoys reading, music and dancing. Her favorite thing to do is spend time with her family, especially her husband Billy and her grandchildren.

Melissa – REGISTERED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
Melissa joined our team as a Veterinary Technician student from Sheridan College in 2018 after completing her Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Animal Biology at the University of Guelph. She took her licensing exam in 2020 and became a fully Registered Veterinary Technician in September 2020. She has always been a lover of animals, and has always strived to do her best to help any animal in need while building customer satisfaction. She has fostered and trained a service dog in the past and hopes to continue to do so in her spare time. Her furry family continues to consist of multiple dogs, cats, and a rabbit. During her spare time she loves cuddling with her cat, taking her dogs on hikes, going to the dog park or furthering her knowledge via continuing education credits. She hopes in the future to be more well known and incorporated with the Ontario Association of Veterinary Technicians (OAVT).

RaQUel – Veterinary Technician
Raquel joined the team a little earlier this year as an animal care attendant. She has been working with animals since around 2015 for her Co-op placement in High School. Raquel graduated from the Animal Care program at Sheridan College in 2017. She has a strong love for animals and wanted to further her career with them so she is currently attending Sheridan for the Veterinary Technician program. Raquel has always loved animals and continues to give them the best care, as well as striving to maintain great customer service. When she’s not at the clinic she is either hiking with her dog Kaly or playing with her cats Sophie, Phoebe and her newest additions to the family Ivy Rey & Ember.

Anna – VETERINARY ASSISTANT
Anna joined our team in September 2016 and has been working in the veterinary business since 2013. She graduated from the Animal Care program at Sheridan College in the spring of 2013 to help further her knowledge of animal husbandry, and care. Like everybody here at the clinic, Anna is an animal lover, and she also puts a lot of effort into making our clients happy as she loves to see people smile. She has a passion for pet nutrition, and always makes sure to help the doctors recommend proper diets to all of our patients. When Anna is not at the clinic she is at home spending time with her ever growing furry family.

LOVEPREET – VETERINARY ASSISTANT
Lovepreet has been with Eglinton Highway 10 vet clinic since 2019 as a veterinary assistant. She is a graduated veterinarian from India and is working towards obtaining her license to work as veterinarian in Canada. She has always been passionate about small animals which led towards her interest in the field & work enthusiastically to take care of your furry family members. Outside work, Lovepreet enjoys cooking, and hanging out with friends/family.

Tuffy – CLINIC CAT
You will find Tuffy, our resident pet greeter, sitting at our door welcoming every pet and owner that enters the Eglinton-Hwy 10 Clinic. Constantly on the move, his hobbies are jumping and playing with dogs and catching a free ride in any pet carrier. Always loving and affectionate and willing to show you where you can find his treats.

Boo – CLINIC CAT
Boo! That’s his name – also our resident pet greeter. You will always find Boo not far behind his brother, Tuffy when it comes to treats. He likes to keep a lookout over our reception area, always welcoming our clients. Though he is very loving and affectionate, he likes to play and sometimes will show his affection with a love bite. Always feel free to say hi to Boo when you and your furry friends come by.

Pumpkin – Clinic cat
Pumpkin is our newest resident pet greeter and cannot be missed with her fluffy white coat. She loves to greet everyone including children and dogs especially. She fits right in with our other two resident greeters although she likes to be the boss of them. You will most likely find her laying in a box or on top of your bag of food in the reception area.
